A Brooklyn babysitter was twice caught abusing a helpless 6-month-old girl on a nanny-cam planted by the tiny victim’s suspicious parents, sources said.
Elena Bass was charged Wednesday with assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child after the twin roughing incidents just prior to Christmas, sources said.
According to cops, the Staten Island woman “violently removed” the child from a changing table in her employers’ downtown Brooklyn home — and on another occasion, slammed the girl down into an armchair.
The nanny admitted to assaulting the child, though the child suffered no injuries, the sources said. The incidents occurred on Dec. 22 and Dec. 23, with the parents going to cops on Dec. 28, sources said.
Bass — who had no previous criminal record — was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, police said. Her arraignment was expected later in the day at Brooklyn Supreme Court.
