choosing partners that’s similar to it’s semi-namsake, Tinder, and recently received approximately $500,000
in funding from angel investors who are bullish about the demand for mobile dating
Online dating has become mainstream since it first appeared in the mid-1990s
with sites like Match.com, due in part to the growth of smartphones. Dating sites and mobile apps are most popular with Americans
between the ages of 25 and 34, with 22 percent those people having
used online dating, followed by 17 percent of people between the ages of 35 and
44, the Pew Research Center reports.
